李洪涛先生，1947年生于中国大连市，现任美国兰多夫梅肯学院名誉教授、欧洲国际东方美术研究院荣誉院士、日本国际美术协会顾问、美国中美文化交流协会高级艺术顾问、美国人民大使协会高级艺术顾问，被评为2011年美国华盛顿十大华府人物。

李洪涛被誉为当代、后现代的抽象油画大师，他的作品被称为是在具象印象抽象基础上升华为“大象无形，独步艺海”的“意象”代表之作。

Mr. Li Hongtao, born in Dalian, China in 1947, is currently Professor Emeritus of Randolph Macon College, USA. Honorary academician of European International Oriental Art Research Institute, consultant of Japan International Art Association, senior art consultant of American Sino-American cultural exchanges association, senior art consultant of American People's Ambassador Association. Li Hongtao is known as the contemporary and post-modern abstract oil painting master. His works are known as the representative works of "image" which sublimated from the abstract foundation of figurative impression to "elephant invisible, unique in the art of Huawei."
